A hot wax will keep your bases from becoming dry and brittle. When your bases are dry they become rough and sticky which can slow you down when in fresh powder or moving across flat areas forcing you to walk and push your way to a steeper slope. If your bases look white like these do then you are over do for a hot wax.
A hot wax opens the pours of the base and so the wax penetrates deep into the ski which will keep them moist and slick for 3-6 days on the mountain depending on conditions.

We can come to your house, hotel or business and tune your skis and snowboards while you wait. We can sharpen edges, P-Tex scratches and hot wax your gear where ever you are.
We have a pick-up and delivery service for stone grinds and major repairs. If you have a core shot that needs to be repaired or if you want a stone grind to make your skis look new again then we can pick them up, work on them at our shop and then return them to you.
